Have you had your happy meal?

Thats been my thought lately.. Wheres my joy? Wheres my smile? Someone told me the other day , You need to eat a happy meal, and smiled at me real big.
That made me think, I've always been the most smiley person, the most possitive person, and laugh all the time. When they said that to me, I came home that night and before I went to bed, I felt something inside of me say, Wheres your smile? Eat a happy meal.. I closed my eyes, and prayed. I asked God to give me my joy back, and to give me my smile back.
Things around me have made it really hard to smile lately. Its made it hard to be happy, and to be possitive about everything. But I realized, our circumstances, shouldn't rob us of our joy, and we should always look on the bright side. I can almost put money on it that someone has worse circumstances than you. I know there are "TONS" of people that have worse circumstances than me. Sometimes we get so blinded by the negativity, that we dont see the possitivity in life.
Smiles are contagious, just like negativity is contagious. So Lets pass around possitive energy, Smiles that will make peoples day, Thank you's and I appreciate what you do. Lets try and make everyone we come incontact with feel appreciated.
The other day, My Dad called me and told me to take a trash can down to be thrown away, he told me to write a note on it telling the Garbage Men to throw the whole trash can away.
So I got a piece of paper, and wrote ,
" Good Morning, Can you please throw this whole trash can away. Thanks so much for what you do.Your job is very important, and I dont know what we'd do without ya'll. Your a blessing! Have a great day ! "
I didn't think they would think anything about it, I figured they'd pick up the trash can and throw it away. My sister watched as they came to pick up the trash can, and when the man saw the note. He stopped the man driving the truck, and they all got out and stood by the trash can reading the note. With the biggest smiles on their face. See, how simple that was, and it made them feel so special.
Do things for the people who are least looked at. Like the buggy boys at walmart, Give them a dollar,or buy them something to drink on your way out of walmart and just give it to them, smile and say thank you for what you do. Everyone needs to feel appreciated. So lets start with the small things. They mean the most!!! If we do that, God will begin to bless us. When we do things for others , it brings joy to our hearts ...
So my question for you to think about is " Have you had your happy meal? If not, Eat a happy meal!!!"
great post baby! Preach to your mom! Thanks so much for all you do-I couldn't make it without your love and support. I am fortunate to have the best daughters in the world.
